1. What we do with your information:
At Artamata our goal is to provide a high quality and easy
to use service, and all the information we collect is with the primary purpose
of meeting these goals. Address and recipient lists, as well as reminder lists
are never accessed by Artamata except as requested by the customer. They are
maintained, along with credit card data and personal profile information as a
convenience to customer.
2. Information we collect As part of the services we offer
to our customers, we may collect any or all of the following information:
1. The customer's address and telephone.
2. The address and phone number of the recipient.
3. Credit card information.
4. Name and date of events, specific to a particular customer and recipient.
5. Address book and Address lists.
6. Greeting card data and personalization.
7. List of favorite greeting cards.
3. How we protect your information This information is
secured via several methods such as online encryption (SSL), All servers
including the Web servers are located behind firewalls, and no customer data is
stored on any server with direct access to the internet. All customer
information and associated data is stored on physically secured servers. Access
to customers' data is restricted to a select few employees of Artamata that
have a specific requirement to access key information such as credit card
information and shipping details. Access to the individual customer's data is
available only to the end user by means of logging in and providing a username
and password. It is up to the end user to provide a secure password, however,
to help facilitate this Artamata requires that all passwords be at least 6
characters in length.
4. Personalized Greeting Cards Once you have personalized a
greeting card, Artamata does not edit, read, or check your personalized text or
uploaded images. In light of this, all users are required to read the terms and
conditions as to the restrictions and liability of all personalization created
by the user.
5. When will Artamata disclose information:
1. When required by any local, state, or federal legal
authority.
2. When required to legally protect and defend the rights or property of
Artamata.
3. When required to protect its members, users, or employees
4. When required to enforce or defend the conditions of Artamata's Terms and
Conditions.
At times we will use the aggregate (non-personal)
information to help tailor our company and services to better serve our
customers. At times we will also offer aggregate information (non-personal) to
affiliates and advertisers, to help choose appropriate business partners.
